Complete Drivers Education Certificate Course
Part A: 25 hours of classroom sessions (in person)
At NSCC Waterfront Campus.
Next in person Classroom starts:

Part B: 10 hours of in car lessons. (one on one)

Location: NSCC Ivany Campus (waterfront), Dartmouth

5 days in person Lectures: 12:00 Noon to 5:00 pm

Part B: 10 hours in-car training (one on one) 5 x 2 hours each lesson. You must have your Learner’s License with you. Text, email, or call to schedule.
A certificate will be issued for the completion of the course after the two parts are finished and pass the course written test.
The benefits of taking The Driver Education Course (Certificate Programme):
- Avoid learning bad habits; learn proper techniques the first time.
- Decrease the wait time between getting your learner's permit and taking the road exam from one year to 9 months.
- Remove the N off of your license after 2 years to get an R license. After another 2 years to get a full class 5 license.
- Cut insurance costs - the course gives you an equivalent of 3 years’ experience for insurance purposes.
- Learn to drive defensively.

Hourly Instruction also available: $60.00 per hour taxes included. Hourly students need to use the training car to take the road test is $55.00 taxes included.
